March River Cruises

With spring finally upon us, there’s a wider choice of itineraries available as the temperature starts to rise across the continent, making for the perfect Easter escape. 

Where can you sail?

The Far East and Asia is still very popular in March, with Mekong itineraries exploring Cambodia and Vietnam due to the bright and dry weather. There is also a number of Yangtze itineraries exploring China, as the spring flowers being to blossom and temperatures are at their mildest. The first Europe itineraries also start to sail, with cruises along the Danube, Dutch Waterways and the Rhone available. Popular places to visit include Holland, as the tulips begin to bloom and Lisbon, as the crowds are much smaller than in summer, while it's still quite warm Many cruise lines start to set sail to Europe in March, including Saga River Cruises, Avalon Waterways and Emerald Waterways.
