Amadeus River Cruises have announced plans to introduce it’s 16th ship in 2020, named Amadeus Imperial.
The ship is set to sail along the popular Danube, Main and Rhine rivers, as well as the Dutch and Belgian waterways, when she is launched in April 2020.
She will be a sister-ship to the cruise line’s Silver series, including ships such as Silver, Silver II and Silver III. Each of these, and the new Amadeus Imperial, will feature an award-winning concept of ample public areas and spacious deluxe cabins.
Amadeus Imperial will also feature a newly designed entrance area which combines imperial grandeur with contemporary design. There is a choice of 72 deluxe cabins alongside 12 Amadeus suites, making this new ship one of the largest within the cruise line’s portfolio.
The cabins on the Mozart and Strauss decks include a lowerable panoramic window along the entire cabin width, while all deluxe cabins include comfortable, spacious bathrooms, infotainment system, flat screen television, minibar and air-conditioning, as well as an accessible outdoor balcony with a seating area.
Martina Lüftner, Founder and Managing Director of Lüftner Cruises/ Amadeus River Cruises, said:
“With every addition to our fleet, we are faced with the immense challenge of creating an effective synergy between tradition and modernity. The Amadeus Imperial should be a temporary home for its guests, where a welcoming ambiance emerges from the interplay between the past and present, and the ship becomes a personal companion on the journey through our continent.”
The ship will sail on her maiden voyage in April 2020, gracing the waters of Holland and Belgium for her initial cruise. Following this, the ship will operate between Amsterdam and Basel to the Black Sea and the Danube Delta.
Natalie O’Mahoney, Head of Sales for Amadeus River Cruises, also added:
“This is an exciting addition to the Amadeus fleet. River cruising is growing increasingly popular amongst UK audiences who are looking to explore new destinations and enrich themselves in new experiences. Amadeus understand that its passengers want to combine European culture with high class luxury whilst still retaining the comfort and familiarity of their temporary home and this new ship will manage these expectations perfectly.”
We think she will be the perfect addition to the Amadeus fleet and can’t wait to see more of this ship before she launches in 2020.
