Following the recent release of their 2020 itineraries, Crystal River Cruises have now announced their 2021 sailings with even more sailings to choose from!
2021 River Cruises
The luxury river cruise line is the first to open its reservations nearly three years in advance, allowing cruisers the chance to plan ahead for their luxury holidays across Europe.
Throughout 2021, Crystal’s five luxury river ships – Crystal Mozart, Crystal Bach, Crystal Debussy, Crystal Mahler and Crystal Ravel will sail along the Danube, Rhine, Main and Moselle on itineraries between seven- and 16-nights.
There are 45 ports of call in total which are visited throughout 2021, many of which are UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Every voyage also features at least one overnight stay, with some even including double or triple overnights allowing guests to further immerse themselves in each port.
Walter Littlejohn, Crystal River Cruises’ Vice President and Managing Director, said:
“We have seen such great demand and increasing desire by luxury travellers to secure their ideal holiday earlier than ever so we are pleased to make our complete offerings for 2019, 2020 and now 2021 available for booking. Not only does this advance ability to plan help ensure that our guests enjoy their Crystal River Experience precisely the way they wish, but our Book Now Savings adds more incentive to book early, guaranteeing the best fares for guests who plan ahead.
“In 2021, more than 180 Crystal River Cruises’ departures invite the most discerning travellers to experience true luxury on Europe’s rivers – a standard unmatched by any other line. UNESCO-recognised old towns in Bamberg and Bruges, epicentres of art and music in Vienna and Salzburg and dramatic landscapes such as the Wachau Valley and Middle Rhine Valley add historic and natural flavour to itineraries that also feature contemporary hubs such as Düsseldorf and Basel.”
New itineraries include the Eastern Danube Discoveries voyage aboard Crystal Mozart, which explores Hungary, Serbia and Croatia, and those looking to sail rivers less travelled can enjoy the Enchanting Moselle sailing through the scenic Mosel Valley.
Other itineraries include:
- Legendary Rhine – Featuring overnights in Koblenz and Amsterdam, with ports including Cologne, Rudesheim, Mannheim and Strasbourg.
- Tulips and Windmills – Featuring overnight stays in Amsterdam where the sailing begins and ends, ports including Kinderdijk, Hoorn, Rotterdam, Ghent, Middleburg and Antwerp.
- Danube Serenade – Either Vienna to Budapest or reverse, featuring overnights in Vienna and Budapest with calls in Durnstein, Melk, Linz, Krems and Bratislava as well as cruising the Wachau Valley.
- Grand Europe – An Ultimate Journey featuring the Danube, Rhine and Main rivers combined, this itinerary features overnights in Vienna, Budapest, Amsterdam, Regensburg and Rudesheim, call at ten other ports of call throughout the duration.
Crystal River Cruises offer an exemplary insight into Europe’s river cruising scene, blending old towns and medieval architecture with modern structures and cultures. From the windmills of Amsterdam and Germany’s old town of Trier to the musical heritage of Vienna and Dusseldorf’s vibrant culinary scene.
